You can import disk files into CyberArticle books so as to
manage them conveniently.
CyberArticle will convert all files into HTML files
for importing. The imported files will be saved under the
current folder.
In CyberArticle, click "Main Menu->File->Import->Import Files" and
then a dialog for importing files will be shown as the following:
Select the types of files to be imported
Here, you can select the types of files that you want to
import:
Text files(*.txt or other plain text files) |
Converted into HTML files and imported; |
Image files |
Converted into HTML files and imported; |
Source code files |
Converted into HTML files and imported; Source code will be
colorized; |
PDF files |
Original PDF files will be imported as attachments of the
article; |
Mime files(mht, eml, nws files) |
Converted into HTML files; If mime contains
attachments, attachments will also be added; |
Office files(doc, ppt, xls files) |
Your computer is required to install related Office programs
such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel; CyberArticle will call these programs,
convert files into HTML files and save them; At the same
time, original files will also be added as attachments of the

Save file informations (file name, location and size) as a
HTML file; You can set whether to store this file as an attachment or

Set a folder
You can set whether the included
sub-folders and hidden files will also be imported.
Select files
Only the checked files will be imported.
Config import options
- Use file name as article title: For a HTML file, use the file name
or title of the HTML as the articel title;
- Include extension name: Whether the article title includes an
extension name or not.
Advanced
When importing source code files, you can define "Colorize Source
Code" function by yourself.
The method is to modify *.ini in the
"Plugins\Import\SourceCode2HTML" folder under install
catalog.
